Disable irritating Check Disk at startup
If your windows XP checks disk error every time at startup, and you want to disable this feature, than follow these steps.
Solution 1
start -->> run -->> type this in run box and press enter.
chkdsk /x c:
This will disable check disk for c:\ partition. Follow same steps for other partitions.
chkdsk /x c:
Solution 2
1) start -->> run -->> type regedit -->> ok.
2) Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Sesion Manager
3) Double click "BootExecute" key and change value to:
autocheck autochk*

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Sesion Manager
3) Double click "BootExecute" key and change value to:
autocheck autochk*
